Transaction Shield is a new subscription from MetaMask that pairs Transaction Protection with priority support, to offer you unprecedented confidence when you navigate web3.
MetaMask sets the standard for crypto wallet security with industry-leading infrastructure that keeps you safe.
Now, Transaction Protection takes this a step further: if MetaMask determines a transaction in-app is safe and you subscribe to Transaction Shield, that transaction is guaranteed against loss of up to $10,000.

Connect to MetaMask Extension
Click on the three lines in the top right corner to go to Settings, then click on Transaction Shield.

Open a claim
Submit your transaction details in the portal within 21 days of your loss. We’ll ask for information about the transaction and wallet.

Receive your funds
Once your claim is approved, you’ll receive your assets back to the address provided in the claim form. Most claims will be processed within 15 business days.
