How to sell on Portfolio
- Connect your MetaMask wallet to portfolio.metamask.io and click the “Sell” tab to get started or click the “Buy&Sell” button on MetaMask Extension.
- Select your region
- Select the token and network you want to sell from (example: ETH on Ethereum)
- Select cash account destination available in your location (example.: bank account, PayPal balance, or debit card)
- Enter the crypto amount you want to sell (example: 0.5 ETH)
- Select one quote from aggregated real-time options to continue. You'll be securely redirected to the provider’s website to sign up and link your cash account, then directed back to MetaMask Portfolio.
- Select “Send ETH to [Provider]” to send crypto from your wallet to your cash account.
- Confirm the transaction in your MetaMask wallet.
- Click on the “Sell” tab to keep track of your order as it is processed.
Times vary per provider, and funds may take a few days to reflect in your cash account.
How to sell on Mobile
- Click the “Sell” option from the menu bar at the bottom
- Select your region
- Select cash account destination available in your location (example: bank account, debit card, or PayPal)
- Enter the crypto amount you want to sell (example: 0.5 ETH)
- Click “Get Quotes” to proceed, all quotes from the different available providers will be presented in real-time. Select one to continue (remember, the cheapest option is presented to you first).
- Complete the transaction on the provider’s portal to sign up and link your cash account
- Review the order summary in your MetaMask app and confirm the transaction to send crypto to your cash account through the provider.
- Click on the progress notification to keep track of your order as it is processed.
