Morpheus is a decentralized open source AI network launched in November 2024, by David Johnston and Bowen Belmer. The platform supports personal AI agents, called Smart Agents, that can execute smart contracts and connect to crypto assets. As a result, Morpheus gives users decentralized AI tools that they can fully control themselves. The native cryptocurrency of Morpheus is MOR, an ERC-20 token that launched on Arbitrum on February 2024. The main uses for MOR are as a utility and governance token that:
