mUSD Bonus Terms Of Use

You may be eligible for a bonus if you convert to mUSD on Ethereum Mainnet and Linea.

The mUSD bonus is an annualized rate of up to 3%, meaning it accumulates gradually over time based on your mUSD balance. Your bonus starts accumulating as soon as you convert your stablecoins to mUSD, and you can claim what you've earned daily from the mUSD token on the home screen or within the mUSD asset page on MetaMask Mobile.

The mUSD bonus is currently unavailable in the United Kingdom, and in any other regions where MetaMask services are not supported, or where bonuses are not permitted under local laws.

Note: The mUSD bonus is subject to availability and may be modified or withdrawn at any time. Any percentage figures are for illustrative purposes only, are not guaranteed, and may change over time. The bonus is not available in all regions or to all users, and additional eligibility criteria may apply.

When you convert stablecoins (like USDC, USDT, or DAI) to mUSD, your bonus begins accumulating immediately.

The bonus rate, currently up to 3%, is annualized. That means it is calculated over a year but accumulates proportionally each day based on your mUSD balance. You can claim your accumulated bonus daily from the mUSD asset page on MetaMask Mobile.

Your bonus starts accumulating as soon as you convert stablecoins to mUSD on Ethereum Mainnet or Linea. The claim button will be visible on MetaMask Mobile one day after your conversion.

Note: You will need to pay standard network fees when you claim.

First, make sure you are using MetaMask Mobile version 7.65 or later. Then:

1. Open MetaMask Mobile

2. On the home screen, tap Get mUSD. Alternatively, select an eligible stablecoin (such as USDC) and tap Get 3% mUSD bonus.

3. Enter the amount of the stablecoin you want to convert to mUSD

4. Tap Continue

5. Review the confirmation screen and tap Convert to complete the transaction

Once the transaction is confirmed, your mUSD will appear in your wallet and your bonus will begin accumulating automatically.

You will need MetaMask Mobile version 7.66 or later. To claim your bonus:

1. Open MetaMask Mobile

2. Tap on mUSD in the Tokens tab

3. Tap Claim

4. You will see that your bonus will be received on Linea. Tap Continue

5. Review the bonus details and tap Confirm to receive your bonus

Your claimed bonus will appear as mUSD on Linea.

Note: You will need to pay standard network fees on Linea to complete your claim. Your mUSD bonus accumulates automatically at no cost; fees only apply if and when you choose to claim.

Your mUSD bonus is distributed on Linea. You can claim your mUSD bonus on MetaMask Mobile directly from the home screen or in the mUSD page.

Once claimed, your bonus will appear as mUSD on Linea.

No. Your mUSD stays in your wallet, fully in your control and fully liquid. The mUSD bonus does not require any lockups, deposits, or external protocols to manage.

You only need to pay standard network transaction fees (AKA gas fees) when converting from USDC, USDT, or DAI to mUSD on Ethereum Mainnet and Linea.

There is no MetaMask fee or provider fee for this conversion.

When you choose to claim your accumulated bonus, you will need to pay standard network fees on Linea.

Yes. Once claimed, your mUSD and your bonus are spendable with your MetaMask Card or wallet, just like your other funds. MetaMask Card is accepted anywhere Mastercard is accepted.

No. The bonus rate may change over time based on reserve income. Any bonus may be changed or removed without notice, You will be able to see the latest rate directly within your account.
