Introducing Multichain Accounts
We’re rolling out Multichain Accounts on MetaMask soon, so you can easily trade tokens across EVM and non-EVM networks while keeping track of your assets.
Previously, addresses on EVM and non-EVM chains were managed separately and couldn't be viewed together. But no longer. MetaMask Multichain Accounts simplify your wallet, letting you view all your assets across EVM and non-EVM chains in one account.

How do Multichain Accounts work

  • One unified account for addresses across different networks
  • Easy navigation across chains, unifying your swap and bridge experience
  • Clearer organization of digital assets

What happens to my existing accounts on MetaMask

  • All of your EVM accounts will keep their names and addresses. Each EVM address will be grouped into a Multichain account, alongside a Solana address that is paired with it.
  • If you already have Solana addresses, they’ll be paired with your EVM addresses into Multichain Accounts. If not, new Solana addresses will be created for you.
  • Support for additional networks, like Bitcoin, Tron, and Monad, is coming
Whether you’re a newbie looking for easy onboarding, or an OG who needs streamlined account management, Multichain Accounts make MetaMask simpler and smoother than ever.
Multichain Accounts go live at the end of October. Update MetaMask to the latest version to check out our latest features.
